On April 19-20, The 4th International Conference on Applied Mathematics, Modeling and Intelligent Computing(CAMMIC2024) was held at the Jinming Campus of Henan University in Kaifeng, Henan Province. The conference was organized by Henan University, hosted by the School of Mathematics and Statistics of Henan University and the Henan Provincial Applied Mathematics Center, and co-organized by the AEIC Academic Exchange Center. The conference focused on themes such as "applied mathematics, modeling and simulation, and intelligent computing," fostering academic exchanges. 

Professor Tang Hengcai, the Deputy Dean of the School of Mathematics and Statistics at Henan University, presided over the opening ceremony. Professor Han Xiaosen, the Dean of the School of Mathematics and Statistics at Henan University, was invited to deliver the opening speech.

The conference invited several distinguished speakers to deliver engaging keynote presentations, including Professor Chai Jian from Xidian University, Professor Mohammad S. Obaidat from the University of Jordan, Professor Liu Chi from Beijing Institute of Technology, Professor Lin Guihua from Shanghai University, Professor Zeng Wei from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Professor Zhou Huiyu from the University of Leicester, Professor Ding Xiaofeng from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Dr. Li Qiang from the Institute of Mathematics at Henan Academy of Sciences, as well as Professor Wang Bo from Henan University. The event attracted over 200 participants both online and offline, including faculty, students from universities around the world, and local experts and representatives.

Twenty-four young scholars from various institutions, including Ningxia University, Guangxi University, Zhengzhou University, the Naval University of Engineering, Guizhou University, Henan University of Technology, and the Institute of Applied Physics and Computational Mathematics in Beijing, delivered oral presentations.  Five young scholars from Guangxi University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Xihua University, Beijing Institute of Technology, and Neusoft Institute of Information in Dalian (three onsite and two online) were honored with the Best Oral Presentation Awards. The awards were presented on-site by Professor Wang Zhonghua, the Deputy Dean of the School of Mathematics and Statistics at Henan University.
